I had a couple of days at the end of last week where I had episodes of extreme sweating and faintness. On Saturday, I got up with the worst headache ever. I took tramadol but no effect. I was breathless, then vomiting, then sweating with pains in my back as well. I went to the GP on Monday and I have a chest and water infection. I've never known a chest infection with no cough before! Or a water infection without increased need to wee!

Anyone else experienced this? I went for a chest x ray today and started antibioticsand have left off my MTX. I desperately need to be well for Friday as a friend and I had booked to go away for the weekend in September and had to cancel because my Dad was ill. I've been so looking forward to it. I've cancelled my pampering cut and colour on Thurs night as I can't bear the thought of being messed with! Even my scalp is tender.

Someone wave a magic wand in my direction, please .....Sad XX Ailsa

Oh Ailsa,

Magic dust being sprinkled . . . . . ....

Gosh that sounds awful you poor thing. Hopefully the anti biotics will kick
in tomorrow so I am sure 2 days of rest now will sort you for the week end.

Have a great w end even if you don't do too much it will be a lovely
break.

Hi Ailsa,

I had a lot of chest problems while taking MTX, and eventually, after being hospitalised, I had to stop taking it. However, I always had a cough, so not really like your problem. I had terrible sweats etc. while on leflunomide, but no vomiting.

I hope the anti-biotics kick in soon and you don`t miss out on your weekend.

Take care,

Kathleen x
